    Chair in Finance

    Under the leadership of Professor Ian Clarke, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding academic as Chair in Finance at the University of Edinburgh Business School. The appointment is a key part of the School’s continuing programme of investment in academic excellence, which has seen ten new appointments at professorial level over the past year.

    Excellence in research, outstanding leadership abilities, and a passion for building close links with practitioners and professional bodies are the key requirements of the role. As part of expanding our research portfolio – and with the benefit of Edinburgh’s status as a leading financial centre - we would particularly welcome applications from internationally-recognised academics in the fields of investment, asset management, and related areas.
