  • Job Description: The Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee invites applications for Associate Dean-Masters Programs, an open rank Faculty position to begin in 2014.

    The qualified candidate will hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Business or related field. Candidates must have previous experience in academic administration to include budgetary oversight of programs and a current record of scholarly accomplishment in their discipline, which may be Accounting, Management, Marketing, Finance, Information Technology Management, or Supply Chain and Operations Management. In addition, the candidate must have experience at an AACSB accredited business school and provide evidence of excellent teaching at the Masters level.

    Demonstrated capability to network collaboratively with the business community to develop external contacts and partnerships for advancing certificate programs and supporting academic initiatives is also required.

    Primary responsibilities of the Associate Dean-Masters Programs include administration and alignment of Masters Degree programs (MS, MBA, EMBA), certificate offerings, joint master-level programs, and pursuit of strategic initiatives to strengthen core programs at the Masters level, as well as the modification of existing programs as appropriate. Responsibilities also include providing excellent teaching, high quality research, and providing support to the Dean and Senior Associate Dean to address planning, enrollment, and globalization goals. Additionally, the Associate Dean will contribute to the mission of the Lubar School by providing service to the area, School, and University through committee service and other shared governance activities, and by enhancing the School’s strong linkages with the business community.
