    The Department of Finance in the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance for the Fall term of 2014. A specialization in Investments or Asset Pricing is preferred, though other areas will be considered. This is position is an opportunity to join a highly research-active faculty in a dramatic 177,5000 square foot building for the LeBow College of Business that opened in September 2013.

    Candidates should have earned a Ph.D. in Finance or be near completion and have excellent communication skills. We are looking for candidates with publications (or ability to publish) in top-tier finance journals. The ideal candidate should also be able to interact effectively with others and enhance the intellectual environment of the department. All candidates should be capable of teaching at the undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. levels. The teaching load is commensurate with research expectations.

    The Department of Finance is a group of active, enthusiastic, research oriented scholars (  engaged primarily in publishing empirical research. The department conducts an active research seminar series with presentations by leading scholars from throughout the United States. Research is supported by access to research databases and research assistant support.
