Business Administration - Augustana College invites applications to fill an open rank tenure-track position in Finance beginning in the Fall of 2014. Teaching responsibilities include Introductory Finance courses, with the opportunity to teach other courses within the successful candidate’s area(s) of expertise. Preferred areas include any of the following: Behavioral Finance, Topics in International Finance, Financial Institutions, Bank Management and/or introductory courses in statistics. As part of a liberal arts college, we are specifically interested in candidates who can both appreciate and integrate the role of business and finance in the context of the larger society and its concerns. A Ph.D. in Finance or Economics is required. However, ABDs will be considered. The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to student learning and teaching excellence, advising, and mentoring of students. We also expect maintaining an active scholarly agenda, and service to the college.
