    The Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) invites finance candidates to apply for faculty positions at all levels – Assistant, Associate and Full Professor – in the Department of Finance. Candidates within all areas of financial economics will be considered. The teaching load is extremely competitive. Senior candidates may be eligible for matching salary grants from Norges Bank through its Norwegian Finance Initiative (NFI). Starting date is August 2014.

    Applicants should have a proven research record or, for the Assistant Professor level, have strong research potential and have completed, or be close to completing, a PhD in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

    NHH is a first-rate European business school with a strong research tradition, located in beautiful surroundings just outside downtown Bergen. It is the top school for business students in Norway and has a unique relationship with the Norwegian business and financial community. The school has about 130 full-time faculty members and close to 3,000 students. The finance group, with its 15 faculty members, is strongly dedicated to research. The Department offers courses at the undergraduate, master, and PhD levels. The teaching language is primarily English.
