Warwick Business School (WBS) is one of the foremost research-led departments of its kind in the UK. It was the first of an elite global group to be endorsed by all three international business school accreditation bodies: AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB. In the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise it submitted research output from over 130 staff. 75% of this work was recognized as being internationally excellent and rated as 3* and above. This resulted in an average ranking of 2.95 placing WBS joint 5th in the UK.
Underpinned by the breadth, depth and quality of its research, WBS offers a wide range of business and management degrees from undergraduate through postgraduate and post-experience to its doctoral programme. It also offers a range of accredited courses and customized programmes.
Applications are invited for positions in Finance at Assistant, Associate or (Full) Professor level. Members of our faculty are expected to conduct original research of high quality in all areas of finance, to teach effectively and to participate in and contribute to the academic environment.
You will be capable of contributing to the School’s aims of maintaining and further improving its research and teaching, with evidence of the potential to publish research of international excellence.
You will be an experienced teacher of Finance and will need to have a strong record of published research in the subject. You will be expected to provide research leadership and effective teaching across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
