    FACULTY POSITION IN FINANCE
    The Department of Finance and Real Estate at the University of Cincinnati is seeking candidates for two assistant professor positions beginning Fall 2013. Suitable candidates will be selected and interviewed at the 2013 AFA meetings in San Diego held on January 4-6, 2013.

    The funding agreement for these positions requires an expertise in investments (broadly defined). Applicants in all areas of investments are encouraged to apply including those with an interest in real estate or insurance/risk management.

    Duties include maintaining an active and significant research program, teaching in our undergraduate, MBA, MS Finance, and/or Finance Ph.D. programs, and contributing service to the Department and the College. Teaching loads and service requirements are competitive and consistent with research expectations.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in finance or related field, strong commitment to quality teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, and a research agenda aimed at top-tier finance and economics journals. Candidates nearing completion of the Ph.D. degree will be considered.
