    A Faculty Position in Finance

    Aalto University School of Business (formerly known as the Helsinki School of Economics) invites candidates to apply for a tenured faculty position in Finance beginning August 2013. The Position is open to candidates in all areas of Finance; the level is either Associate or Full Professor based on the candidate’s qualifications. Salaries are competitive with European business schools. Outstanding candidates are likely to qualify for additional tax-free grants from Finnish foundations.


    The ideal candidate should have documented excellence in research and teaching.


    Aalto University School of Business is the leading business school in Finland and is located in central Helsinki. The Finance Group is strongly dedicated to research, as shown by a stream of research published in top Finance and Economics journals. Teaching assignments encompass undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. programs, and courses are taught in English. The Department runs an excellent seminar series and is equipped with all major Finance databases. Many faculty members also have access to unique registry-based data sets from Finland.
