Chinese Economy Special Issue: Call for Papers
- Institution University of San Francisco and Zhejiang University
- Event Type Call for Paper
- Date February 28, 2013 - January 30, 2014
This special issue aims to invite scholarly writings that touch on any aspect of the challenges that threatens the stability and growth of China’s economy and offer solutions as well as discuss the opportunities that could arise from such solutions. In addition, we welcome research on all contemporary economic and finance related issues in China. The 2013 OECD Economic Survey of China pointed out that China is expected to surpass the United States as the world’s largest economy as soon as 2016. China has experienced an incredible rate of growth in recent decades, but looking forward China faces huge challenges that could potentially not only impede her growth but destabilize her economy. Given the increasingly critical role that China plays in the global economy, the question of whether China’s economy will continue to remain stable and grow is of significant interest not only to China but also to the rest of the world.
