Call for Papers: Special Issue on Corporate Governance in Emerging Markets

International Review of Economics & Finance (IREF) is a quarterly journal devoted to the publication of high quality theoretical and empirical articles on all aspects of contemporary finance and international economics issues. IREF published its first volume two decades ago and is indexed by SSCI, Journal of Economic Literature, Econ Lit, EBSCO, Scopus, Finance Literature Index, among others. The special issue of IREF is designed to foster a better understanding of corporate governance in emerging markets, especially in Asia, among regulators, investors, researchers, and the interested public. Both theoretical and empirical high-quality contributions are welcome.
All manuscripts should be submitted electronically on or before December 31, 2012 to either Sheng-Syan Chen, Professor of Finance, National Taiwan University, Taiwan, e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org; or Ying Sophie Huang, Professor of Finance, Zhejiang University, China, e-mail:email@example.com. Submitted papers will be blind peer reviewed and authors will be notified within 3 months of submission on editorial decisions. The special issue is scheduled for publication in the fall of 2013.
Each submission should be accompanied by a submission fee of USD100 in check, sent to Professor Carl Chen, Editor, International Review of Economics and Finance, University of Dayton, Dayton, OH, USA, 45469-2251, or paid via online.
