Nominating and Fischer Black Prize Committees At their 2010 Meeting, the AFA Board approved the following membership for the 2011 Nominating Committee: Raghuram Rajan (chair), Seridan Titman, Joshua Rauh, Monika Piazzesi, Tobias Moskowitz, Francesca Cornelli, Manju Puri, Sudipto Dasgupta, Ulf Axelson, Danny Wolfenzon, Chris Malloy and Murray Carlson. The Board also approved the following membership for the 2011 Fischer Black Prize Committee: Darrell Duffie (chair), Robert McDonald, Dimitri Vayanos, Laura Starks, and Luigi Zingales.

Michael C. Jensen wins the 2009 Award for Excellence in Financial Economics.

The AFA and Morgan Stanley announce Michael C. Jensen as Recipient of the 2009 Award for Excellence in Financial Economics. Professor Jensen has selected the National Bureau of Economic Research, Harvard Business School and the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester  as recipients of the $200,000 cash grant.
